Texas Sweethearts’ 15th annual Dream Date event will benefit the Austin Child Guidance Center and Beautifully Loved. 

 

Established in 1951, ACGC is a local, non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the mental health of children and their families through early intervention, diagnosis, and treatment to help develop the emotional skills to face the challenges of life. A multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, family therapists, and professional counselors provides individual, family and group; psychiatric and psychological services; parental education; presentations and community consultation; and training for current and future mental health professionals. As an organization, we send more than 30 volunteers weekly to play with the kids and help the institution in any way possible. 

 

Established in 2012, Beautifully Loved is a nonprofit aiming to improve confidence and self-worth for families dealing with pediatric cancer and other chronic illnesses through experiences of wellness, beauty, and fashion. Their vision is for all young patients battling chronic illnesses and their families to feel valued, cared for, empowered and so Beautifully Loved! As an organization, we help organize and facilitate their annual Dell Children's Blood & Cancer Center Fashion Show. 

 

November 17, 2006, marked the launch of the annual fundraiser, which raised over $5,000. Last fall, we raised over $14,000. With your help, we hope to continue to evolve and grow this event so that we can best serve our honored philanthropies.
