Texas Sweethearts’ hosts its annual Dream Date event to benefit the Casa Marinella and Beautifully Loved. 

 

Casa Marianella started in 1986 as one home for men, women and children, but as Casa has grown, a nearby branch site was created in 2003 for women with children (many of whom are escaping domestic or cultural violence) and named Posada Esperanza.In addition to shelter, Casa offers access to legal and medical resources, food, clothing, English classes, and other resources. Their vision is that all immigrants arriving in Austin will have safe housing and access to the services they need to be successful As an organization, we send volunteers weekly to play with the kids and help the institution in any way possible. 

 

Established in 2012, Beautifully Loved is a nonprofit aiming to improve confidence and self-worth for families dealing with pediatric cancer and other chronic illnesses through experiences of wellness, beauty, and fashion. Their vision is for all young patients battling chronic illnesses and their families to feel valued, cared for, empowered and so Beautifully Loved! As an organization, we help organize and facilitate their annual Dell Children's Blood & Cancer Center Fashion Show. 

 

November 17, 2006, marked the launch of the annual fundraiser, which raised over $5,000. Last fall, we raised over $14,000. With your help, we hope to continue to evolve and grow this event so that we can best serve our honored philanthropies.
